Marvin Grindle, 93, residing in Huron, passed away Sunday morning, November 22, 2020 at his home following a brief illness.
Marvin was born on September 16, 1927 in Clifton, OH to the late George W. and Carrie B. (Dolwick) Grindle.
Marvin retired from GM Delphi as a shipping clerk after many years of service. He was a Veteran of the US Marines serving during the Korean War. Marvin was a member of the Huron United Methodist Church, where he sand in the church choir. He enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, traveling and collecting anything and everything.
Marvin is survived by his caretaker and friend, Louise Dickman of Huron; nephew, Donald (Faye) Pullin of Dayton and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Grindle in 2005 and his 4 sisters and 7 brothers.
A private burial will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
