Brian was born on June 2, 1942, and passed away on November 22, 2020, in Milan, Ohio.

Brian was a 1960 graduate of Monroeville High School. He served in the US Army at Ft. Hood, Texas from 1960-1962. Brian was a member of the Monroeville St. Joseph Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Colvin-Dale, OH Post 527 of the American Legion. Brian was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Milan, Ohio.

Brian worked as a plumber/pipefitter and was a proud member of The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry Local #42 in Norwalk, Ohio. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Brian also enjoyed raising chickens, dogs, and gardening. Additionally, Brian devoted countless hours and service to St. Anthony Church in many capacities.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dolores (Widman) Colahan, and their children, Kathleen Colahan of Concord, Ohio, Stephen Colahan of Columbus, Ohio, Cynthia Colahan of Broadview Heights, Ohio, Andrew (Noelle) Colahan of Medina, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Audry, Blake, Gabrielle, and Rachel; brother, David (Susie) Colahan of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mrs. (Phillip) Rae Colahan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Herschel Merton and Doris (Fox) Colahan; his sister, Diane (Colahan) Henderson; his fraternal twin, Phillip Colahan, and youngest brother, Mark Colahan.

A private family visitation and prayer service will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Father Francis Mariadas will officiate. A Rite of Committal will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Milan.
