Haskell "Mack" Wilson

On the morning of January 5, 2012, the Lord welcomed Haskell "Mack" Wilson, 84, of Sandusky into His loving arms.

He resided at Parkvue Healthcare Facility since February, 2011. He was born February 27, 1927 in Marion County, Ohio to Luther and Ollie (Mayhew) Wilson. He lived in various areas in Ohio and has resided in the Sandusky area since 1966.

Mack was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WW II. He attended Calvary Temple and Faith Memorial Church, both of Sandusky. Mack owned and operated the L. Mack Excavating Company and had worked at the Dixon Ticonderoga Co. for 15 years, retiring in 1991.

Mack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice (Landis), his children: Michele (Rev. Ken) Hiser of Sandusky, Lewis ‘Todd" (Sharon) of Sandusky, Steven (Linda) of Norwalk, David (Abbey) of Marblehead, Robin (Roger) Boesch of Castalia, Christopher (Brenda) of Monroeville, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, one brother: Donald Wilson of Bucyrus, OH., three sisters: Gladys "Uree" Arnold of Dayton, Wilma Jean Fisher of Pataskala, and Carol Ann Graham of Bucyrus, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Luther & Ollie (Mayhew) Wilson, one daughter: Margaret Ann, one son: Michael Albert, two brothers: Lewis and Gerald Wilson.

Friends may call Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Road, Sandusky from 3:00 - 7:00 PM, and on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. The Revs. Kenneth Hiser, David Snyder and Paul Bushhorn will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Bucyrus. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkvue Healthcare Facility,3800 Boardwalk Blvd., Sandusky, Ohio, New Life Journey Ministries of Ottawa County (newlifejourney.org) or Calvary Temple, corner of Columbus & E. Washington Row, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
