Hobert Eugene Adams, 86, residing in Willard, passed away Wednesday evening, December 9, 2020 at The Blossom Nursing Center following a brief illness.
Hobert was born on May 10, 1934 in Willard, OH to the late Stanley and Agnes Adams.
Hobert graduated from Willard High School in 1952. He was an ordained minister for over 40 years and stand in minister at Willard First Assembly Church, where he was a member. Hobert enjoyed preaching on Facebook, and loved music, especially singing and playing his harmonicas and guitars.
Hobert is survived by his daughter, Diane Moore of Huron; his sons, Donald Adams of Milan and Doug (Deborah) Adams of Monroeville; 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan, Morgan, Tristan, Bryce, James and Jonathon; 7 great-grandchildren, Wren, Xander, Nik, Kaleb, Haley, Ethan and Kierston ; one great-great-grandson, Grayson; sisters, Susie, Laney, Linda and Helen; brother, Fred and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Hobert is preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Ann Adams; daughter, Deborah Adams; step-father, Harley Smith and numerous sisters and brothers.
Private family funeral services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory Milan Chapel. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Bloomingville Cemetery, Oxford Township, OH.
