Carol Jean (James) Stout, 60, Bellevue, passed away early Saturday morning, January 7, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on December 9, 1951 in Portsmouth, OH.
Carol worked at the Sandusky Register for several years.
She is survived by her husband, James D. Stout; parents, Harold and Mary (Kromer) James; daughter, Dawne Marie Miller; grandchildren, Jerrod, Quinn, and Tiyanna; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (Ron) Gruhlke, Cindy (Aaron) Harvey, and Connie James; brother, Michael James, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 2 P.M. until time of memorial services at 4 P.M. in Sandhill Baptist Church, 7703 Mason Rd., Sandusky. Rev. Gary Sorrell will officiate. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
