Stanley Edward Redding, 58, Sandusky, departed this life unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at his residence.
He was born November 14, 1962 to the late William and Eleanor (Baxley) Redding, in Sandusky.
He joined the New Jerusalem Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age.
Stanley was a graduate of Sandusky High School. Stanley also worked for CertainTeed and Ventra of Sandusky. Stanley was a loving person with a unique laugh who loved joking around and was proud of his children and grandchildren.
He loved music, cooking and spending time with his family. He was an avid Los Angeles Charger fan and loved watching football. Stanley made sure everyone was taken care of before himself. A caring person willing to help anyone he could.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Tiara Redding and Tia Redding both of Sandusky, OH; son, La'Darrius Twymon, Sandusky; three grandchildren, A'niya Redding, Ari'elle Redding, and Nyyear Alexander all of Sandusky; three sisters, Jane (Peaches) Pickens, Tracy Redding, and Valerie Jean Redding-Amaechi all of Sandusky; three brothers, Larry B. Redding, Glenn D. Redding both of Sandusky, OH and Ronnie L. Redding of Detroit, MI; special aunt; Mary (McElderry) Morris of Sandusky, OH; a host of god children; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving cousins and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; sister in infancy, Tammy R. Redding; brother, Michael W. Redding, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A walk through visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. in New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky. Services will be private for the family. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
