Daisy Mae "Sue" Grady, 74, Sandusky, transitioned this life, Saturday, January 16, 2021, in The Meadows at Osborn Park, Huron.
She was born on November 20, 1946 to union of Curtis Grady and Minnie Pearl Cole Grady in Dekalb, MS.
She was a 1969 graduate of Whisenton High School, Dekalb, MS, and furthered her education at Mary Holmes College, West Point, MS.
Daisy joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Moscow, Ms. After moving to Sandusky, Ohio she united with New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Edward Henry. She was a faithful member of the New Jerusalem Church until her health failed. While attending New Jerusalem she served on the church nurse and the kitchen ministries. She was willing to do anything she could to help the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories son, Larry Wes Grady, Sandusky: sisters, Brenda Grady and Mary Coleman both of Dekalb, MS; Luvera Henson, Austin, TX; brothers, George Cole and Odell Grady both of Sandusky, and Larry Grady, Dekalb, MS; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special cousins, Herbert Henson, Jackie Henson and Floyd Henson.
Daisy was preceded in death by her parents; a infant brother; and a niece, Astarte Webb.
A walk through visitation will be on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 10 A.M. until time of private services at 11 A.M. in New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1920 Eddie Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
