Marjorie Martin, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away suddenly Wednesday afternoon, January 20, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic.
Marjorie was born on September 2, 1937 in Norwalk, OH to the late George D. and Emma (Gibson) Martin.
Marjorie was an assembler at Goodwill Industries and retired in 2007 after 27 years of service. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church and a member of the Renaissance House, Inc. family for 36 years. Marjorie enjoyed lunch and playing bingo at the Senior Center, latchhook, word searches and adult coloring books. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Marjorie was a loving, caring and generous person who cared more about others than herself. She was a loving and true friend who never met a stranger.
Marjorie is survived by her special companion, Van Bish of Sandusky; special friend, Mary Ann Fitz of Sandusky; longtime caregiver, Jennifer Kessler of Norwalk and nieces, nephews, and her Renaissance House family.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Don Spurlock will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Collins Cemetery, Collins, OH.
