Willard R. Rich, 79, Sandusky, died Monday, February 8, 2021, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born on February 23, 1941 in Waineville, W. VA to the late David and Dana (Carpenter) Rich.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Sandusky for 20 years, retiring in 1993.
Willard loved to fish, taking his girls to show them the ropes, watching MSNBC, West Virginia vacations with the family and all the family gatherings, spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Bilger) Rich; daughters, Carol (Ronald) Martin and Peggy (Mike) Dillender, both of Sandusky, and Tina (Eugene Hummel) Miller, Collins, OH; grandchildren, David, Tammy, and Brandon; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Deloris (Donald) Tucker, Jane Lour, W. VA, and Shirley Barnes, Sandusky; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Michael.
Friends may call on Friday, February 12, 2021, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Ken Hiser will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
