Reva P. Willard, 90, of Sandusky, died Sunday morning, January 15, 2012 in the Lutheran Memorial Home, Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 2, 1921 in Stewart County, Tennessee. Reva was employed for 17 years at the former Family Meats in Sandusky, retiring in 1976. She was an avid bowler.
She is survived by two daughters: Shirley Carpenter and Wanda (Gerald) McLaughlin, both of Sandusky, nine grandchildren, great grandchildren, one sister: Georgia Ruth Simpson of Fort Walton Beach, Fl., nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Julian Willard in 2009, one infant son: Lacy Wilson Wofford, one step son: Harold Willard, her parents: Hatton & Bertie (Wallace) Phillips, one sister: Ruby Lewis, one brother: Hayden Phillips, and a granddaughter-in-law: Lori Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday in the Meadow Green Memorial Park Chapel, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron. The Rev. Darrell Gant, chaplain of Stein Hospice, will officiate. Burial will follow.
