Terrance Frances "Terry" Boggs, 61, formerly of Sandusky, residing in Sacramento, CA, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 after an unexpected illness in Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Sacramento.
He was born one in a set of triplets on March 29, 1959 in Sandusky, Ohio.
He was a graduate of Perkins High School, class of 1977 and Bowling Green State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1981. For over 20 years, he worked as a culinary manager for Red Lobster in both Sandusky and Sacramento, California.
As a youth, he attended churches in Sandusky and Port Clinton; and various churches while living in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay area.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Marie Hogan, Sacramento; step-daughter Remee Martin, Sacramento and step-son Dericke Hogan, Maui, Hawaii; Mother-in-Law, Doloris Hogan , Oakland; brother-in-law Reginald Hogan, Oakland; his biological father, Thomas (Kate) Knight; brothers Thomas (Myra) Boggs of Cincinnati, Timothy Everett, Rickey Knight, Dwight (Earlene) Davis, Paul (Melanie) Smoot of Sandusky, and Dennis (Linda) Knight of Detroit, sisters Elaine Knight, Cindy Knight, Shirley Norris, and Kathy (Jerry) Johnson of Sandusky, special niece, Lois Boggs, Phoenix, Arizona; special nephews , Gabriel Boggs, Menifee, California; Levi Boggs, Donovan Evans, and Nate Boggs of Sandusky; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lois Boggs; his biological mother Irene (Davis) Knight; sister, Kathi Boggs; grandparents; several aunts and uncles
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, where a walk-through visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until time of services at 12 P.M. Noon. Inurnment will take place in Perkins Cemetery. Social distancing and Covid-19 protocols will be followed.
