Alberta Marie McLaughlin, 84, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2021, in Providence Care Center.
She was born on January 30, 1937 in Akron OH to the late Tom Mac Kendricks and Dorothy Evans.
Alberta graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957 and attended Ohio Business College for medical and business administration.
She was employed by JC Penny, Hills, and Ford Motor Company.
She was associated with Holy Angels Catholic Church, and Greater Faith Church.
Alberta loved traveling, skating, dancing, cooking and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Yolanda Rogers, Rhonda McLaughlin, Tracy Morgan, Richard A. McLaughlin, and Edward Morgan Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lee McLaughlin; parents; and a son-in-law, Derek Rogers.
Friends may call on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Assembly of Jesus Christ Church, 3510 Beatty Ave., Sandusky. Elder Johnnie Cross will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
