Jerome Paden Sr., 71, Findlay, OH and formerly of Sandusky was called to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born on January 19, 1950 in Sandusky, to the late Helen Mae Nobles and Newtie James Paden.
Jerome fell in love with his wife, Ella Sue Paden, and was a dedicated Christian, using his gift of music, singing, song writing and playing drums to serve God. He was a devoted and faithful member of Higher Ground Church, Fostoria. Jerome was very well known and loved by many.
He is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife and best friend of fifty years, Ella Sue Paden, Findlay, children, Jerome J. Paden Jr., Montgomery, AL, Joseph Paden, Findlay, Jason Paden, Lawrenceville, GA, Margaret (Shadonna) Navarro, Fostoria, Ricky Sylvester Alexander, Sueann Beckley, Melvin Turner, Dana L. Miller, and Frank A. Alexander, all of Sandusky; grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he absolutely adored; sister, Gloria Jean Clinton, Sandusky and Luella Cohen, Lorain; aunt, Earnestine; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, In-laws, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene; and his dear friend and sister-in-law, Patty Burchett.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Derrick Morant will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
