Joseph Patrick Butler, 51, Sandusky, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
He was born on August 11, 1960 in Sandusky to Anne C. (Krebs) Goodman and Ronald L. Butler.
He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1979. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic which led him to start his own business and successfully operate, Butler's Auto Glass. He was an avid motorcyclist.
Joe is survived by his wife, Julie Butler, whom he married on January 17, 2004; his mother, Anne (Krebs) Goodman, Sandusky; his sisters, Theresa Butler, Toledo, and Christine (Krieg) Slisher, Sandusky; his children, Katrina (Jack) Crum, Castalia, Julia Butler, Trinity, FL, Justine Butler, Huron, Angela (Mike) Hainline, Norwalk, Kayla Kromer and Leo (Kelly) Kromer, both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Brookelyn, Teagan, Gage, Madison, Gabe, Mason, Bailey, Charlee, Ronnie, and Trey; nephews, Edward James and Christopher; niece, Rebecca; and his beloved cat, Sam.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Butler; stepfather, Robert Goodman; brother, Edward Jude Butler; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Joe is greatly loved by all of his family.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 4 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate.
