Robert Allen Beese, 64, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, July 7, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Bob was born on July 24, 1956 in Sandusky, OH to the late Richard G. and Marion (Brownell) Beese.
Bob had previously worked for General Electric and more recently was an independent truck driver hauling steel. He retired from Ed Burdue & Company. He was Veteran of the US Marine Corp who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1974. Bob was a life time member of the AMVETS Post #17 and the VFW Post 2529. He enjoyed boating and fishing; he had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Christine M. (Palmison) Beese, whom he married on September 22, 1994. He is also survived by his daughter, Kelly (Jason Hilton) Beese of Castalia; step-daughter, Heather (Gary) Dollman of Ontario, Canada; step-son, Robert J. Aceto of Sandusky; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Jody (Michael) Culley and Freda Beese both of Sandusky; brothers, Richard (Kathy) and Dean (Brenda) both of Sandusky and Gene of FL and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 13 from 2:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 3:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Joshua Bender will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
