Yvonne Ann (Market) Beatty, 91, residing in Castalia, passed away Monday afternoon, July 26, 2021 following a brief illness.
Yvonne was born on June 24, 1930 on Middle Bass Island, OH to the late Edward and Ethel (Perry) Market.
Yvonne graduated from Put-in-Bay High School in 1948. She had been employed with the Miller Boat Line and the National Park Service at Perry's Victory International Peace Memorial. Yvonne was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church on Put-In-Bay, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting her time on Put-in-Bay and spending time with her family and friends.
Yvonne is survived by her husband, Karl Beatty, whom she married on September 15, 2006. She is also survived by her daughter, Margie (Steve Notestine) Wolf of Castalia; son, Thomas (Sue) Seaberg of Put-In-Bay; 6 grandchildren; Scott (Erin) Seaberg, Sarah Trego, Cinnamon (Ryan) Halbert, Nathan Seaberg, Shawn Seaberg and Arthur Wolf and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Sonya (Ron) Dress Olrick of Put-In-Bay; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wright Seaberg of Kentucky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Yvonne is preceded in death by her son, Lowell "Butch" Seaberg.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass 11:00 am at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 620 Catawba Ave., Put-In-Bay. Father John Missler will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Put-In-Bay.
