Inez S. (Floehr) Laessle, 99, of Delaware, OH, and formerly of Sandusky, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
She was born February 10, 1922, in Venice, OH, and attended Sandusky High School.
Of her various jobs, Inez and Oscar Floehr ran "The Store," a local business in North Monroeville. Later Inez, an excellent cook, worked in the cafeteria of New Departure where she was well-known as friendly and fun. Inez was a charter member of Sheppard of the Lake Lutheran Church in Tennessee.
She is survived by her son Ollie Floehr; sister Jeanette Smith granddaughter Carri Floehr; grandson Erick Floehr; Herm's grandchildren Pam (Tom) Bork and Jim (Cindy) Beck; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents John and Della (Bluhm) Offenburg; her first husband Oliver Floehr Sr; second husband Herman Laessle; and 7 sisters Mabel (Willis) Smith, Alice (Don) Gast, Della (Julian) Ruh, Doretta (Jerry) Knauer, Lois (Ed) Kaman, Carol (Fred) Leibacher, and Verna Vinton.
Friends may call from 10 AM until time of services starting at 11 AM, Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH 44824. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
