Mary McCooey, 99, Sandusky, died on Monday, January 23, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on October 17, 1912 in Terryville, CT, to the late William and Barbara Mindera.
She was employed by Eagle Lock in Connecticut.
Mary was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Terryville, CT. She loved to read and enjoyed watching movies.
Mary is survived by her nephew and caretaker, with whom she resided, Harry Mindera, Sandusky, several other nieces and nephews; great- nieces and great- nephews; and great- great- nieces and great- great- nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh "Mack" McCooey; parents; brothers, Harry and Steven; and a sister, Anna.
