Karen Lee (Adams) Ebner, 76, residing in Norwalk, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 18, 2021 at Norwalk Memorial Home following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. During this battle, she found her strength in the Lord and her faith was unwavering.
Karen was born on September 15, 1944 in Lucasville, OH to the late Harold and Betty (Hoskins) Adams.
Karen graduated from Margaretta High School in 1962. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union, and Calvary Baptist Church, where she was also a secretary. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her grandkids, traveling, and watching the Hallmark channel.
Karen is survived by her husband, Donald Ebner, whom she married on February 5, 1966. She is also survived by her daughter, Kim (Kevin) Massie of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Jerry (Ivy) Ebner of Sandusky and Doug (Tricia) Ebner of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Stone, Riley and Justin Ebner; brother, Kenneth (Sandy) Adams of Sandusky; brother-in-law, James Keller of Castalia and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis (John) Heinzerling and Wanda Keller, and brother, Harry (Donna) Adams.
Friends may call on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor David Hixson will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
