Larry Roger Tolley Sr., 75, residing in Sandusky, passed away late Thursday evening, August 19, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a battle with cancer.
Larry was born on September 5, 1945 in Lookout, WV to the late Robert W. and Icie (Duncan) Tolley.
Larry graduated from Nuttall High School in 1963 in Lookout, WV. He was a trucker driver for almost 45 years, retiring in 2020 from South Shore Trucking. He enjoyed golfing, and liked riding his motorcycle and took two trips out west.
Larry is survived by his wife, Zelma (Highlander) Tolley, whom he married on November 19, 1962 in Clifton Forge, VA. He is also survived by his sons, L. Roger (Linda) Tolley Jr. of Willard and Jeff (Bonnie) Tolley of Monroeville; granddaughter, Heather (Jason) Zsebik of Vermilion; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Mason; best friend, Bob (Juanita) Justice of Vermilion and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and Jack.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at both the Seidman Cancer Center and Firelands Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit.
Private family services will be held. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
