Theresa Katherine (Meyers) Metz, 76, residing in Milan, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 22, 2021 at the Norwalk Memorial Home following a lengthy illness.
Theresa was born on October 2, 1944 in Bellevue, OH to the late Theodore and Carmella (Provanzales) Meyers.
Theresa graduated from Milan High School. She retired from Poly One Corporation in Norwalk after 44 years of service. She enjoyed camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and all Ohio sports teams, especially the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Brian) Oney of Milan; grandchildren, Tony (Desiree) Dellinger and Rosanna (James) Lester and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Metz and sister, Dorothy McCtee.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel, 1 S. Main St., Milan. Friends may also call in the funeral home on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Milan Cemetery, Milan.
