Brian K. Fortuna, 46, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, August 27, 2021.
Brian was born on April 2, 1975 in Sandusky, OH to Edwin L. Fortuna Jr. and Wanda L. Kellem.
Brian graduated from Sandusky High School in 1993. He had previously worked at Norfolk Southern Railroad, and currently had been employed as a millwright at Cooper Tire in Findlay. He was known for being an exceptionally talented welder, owning and operating his own business, Fortuna Welding. He was a hard working man who never slowed down, a jack of all trades who never failed at what he needed to accomplish. He enjoyed Mustangs and was building his own drag car, but his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, Jenny. The best memories left with his family are coaching his daughter's softball teams, going to the drag strip, four wheeling, and hunting with his dad and son.
Brian is survived by his high school sweetheart and soul mate, having been together for 30 years, Jennifer (Collins) Fortuna, whom he married on February 20, 1999. He is also survived by his daughter, Lindsey; son, Colin; father, Edwin Jr; sister, Brandy and her children, Kayla and Boyd; Uncle Dave, Uncle Art and Aunt Dev; mother-in-law, Karen S. Collins and other relatives.
Friends may call on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky.
