Daniel L. Kaser

Daniel L. Kaser, 73, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday evening, September 25, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Daniel was born on March 24, 1948 in Sandusky, OH to the late Samuel L. and Elsie (Sharp) Kaser.

Daniel graduated from Sandusky High School in 1966. He was a High School Football stand out on the Monsters of the Seaway, where he was captain and had an undefeated season. He was also an All Ohio Recruit and member of the Sandusky High School Football Hall of Fame. Daniel was recruited by Woody Hayes and played Tight End for The Ohio State University. He became a member of the ROTC and the Kappa Sigma Dental Fraternity. Daniel received the Golden Pants Award on November 25, 1967. He graduated dental school in 1973. Daniel was a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving as Captain at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Dr. Kaser had a successful Dental Practice in Sandusky for 45 years. When he was not serving his patients, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and especially his beloved English Bulldog, Hank.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Patrick S. Kaser of Vermilion and Christian M. Kaser of Sandusky; granddaughters, Tristan Kaser and Kinzley Kaser both of Sandusky; siblings, David Kaser of Tiffin, Jackie Swander of Mesa, AZ, Timothy Kaser of Sandusky, Cheryl Meissner of Chelsea, OK and Michael Kaser of The Woodlands, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Private family services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
