William M. Kramer, 80, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, September 28, 2021 at home.
William was born on August 23, 1941 in Sandusky, OH to the late Roland F. and Katherine (Fisher) Kramer.
William graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1960 and received his bachelor degree in business from Bowling Green State University. He was a Veteran of the US Army National Guard. He retired as a cost analyst in the controller's office at the Sandusky Ford Motor Company in 2001 after 35 years of service. In his retirement he was a ranger at Sawmill Creek golf course.
William was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Sandusky K of C, the Sandusky Elks #258, where he was in the golf league, the Ford Golf League and organized and ran the CYO Basketball program at SCCS for the 4th, 5th and 6th grades. William enjoyed golf with his friends, traveling with his wife, Pat, dinners with friends, taking care of his yard, wintering in Florida and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
William is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Dougan) Kramer, whom he married on July 20, 1968. He is also survived by his daughters, Kristine (Brian) Richards of Hinsdale, IL and Caroline (Michael) Omlor of Clarkston, MI; sons, Todd (Erica) Kramer of Fishers, IN and William Kramer of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Conor, Grace, Finn, Sean, Gianna, Roland and Victoria; sister, Kathleen (Bill Tordi) Van Sickle of Huron; brother, James (Sue) Kramer of Huron and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
