Shawn M. Stacy, 45, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2021.
Shawn was born on July 17, 1976 in Sandusky, OH to Brenda (Stacy) Birdsell.
Shawn was a self-employed welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing and spending time with his kids and family. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and OSU football fan.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Jessica (Schmidt) Stacy, whom he married on May 26, 2018. He is also survived by mother, Brenda (Stacy) Birdsell of Sandusky; daughters, Taylor (Derek Davies) Derrit, Samantha Coleman and Jaedlyen Husted; sons, Trey Peetz, Travis Peetz, Kaden Stacy, Daniel Stacy, Damian Jones and Bentley Miller; grandchildren, Camden and Hudson Davies; sister Kayla (Robert) England of Sandusky; niece and nephew, Rhiannan and Waylon England; his Nebraska family and friends and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Shawn is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Marilyn Stacy; maternal great-grandparents, Emil and Alice Andres; nephew, Jeremiah England and several aunts, uncles and a special cousin.
Friends may call on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 am. Pastor Albert Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
