Adrian Bernard "Bernie" Hamilton, 65, Sandusky, transitioned into the arms of our Father, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, after fighting a lengthy illness.
Our dad, brother, was born on March 5, 1956 in Talladega, AL, to the late Willie Joe Hamilton and Elizabeth Hamilton-Ruffin.
Bernard moved to Sandusky in the early 1950's, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1974. After graduating he went into work with General Motors, and then began working for the family business, Ruffin Refuse, where he remained until his death.
He was very dedicated to the business, but in his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting pool, golfing, and sitting in his "Chair". If you knew Bernard, you know he loved to maintain his vehicles, enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and family. He never met a stranger no matter where he went, and he has touched so many lives.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Hamilton-Mack, son, Adrian Hamilton II, fiancé, Kimberly Bulger, grandkids, Ti'Yonna "Lady T" Mack, Jermaine Mack, Adrian Hamilton III, and his boys, Dorian and Darin Bulger, brother, Danny (Vanessa) Hamilton, and sister, Dr. Barbara Embry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Timothy Hamilton-Ruffin, and his step father, Frison Ruffin.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Darwitt, Curtis, Annie, Major, Kriste, and a few others that gave their unconditional love and support.
We are going to miss him, to know him you had to love Bernard. He was going to always talk trash and cut up. Whenever you saw him you were bound to get a good laugh, but when he meant business, he meant business. However, we will continue to cherish his memories and we know his love lives on through us and the many people he encountered.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
