Ola M. (Grant) Regains, 75, Columbus, OH, was called home on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Mt. Carmel St. Ann's of Columbus, after a lengthy illness.
Ola was born on March 28, 1946 in Dekalb, MS, to the late Elizabeth (Peden) Grant and Henry Clay.
She was employed at Fairlane Nursing Home for many years in Detroit, MI, and was a domestic housekeeper in Detroit. Ola enjoyed spending time with family, her music, and watching Blue Hill Avenue.
She is survived by daughters, Marlene (Kenneth) Pettis and Andrea Grant, both of Sandusky, and Sophonia (Larry) Williams, Columbus, OH; son, Lynn Lewis, Akron, OH; twenty five grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn (Welston) Nickelson, Sandusky.
Ola was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Andrew Grant; sons, Vernneal "Sugarman" King Jr., Vernneal King III, and Johnnie James at birth; sisters, Elise (Henry) Taylor, Martha Belmer, Moddie Cole, Helen Blakley, Mable (Thomas) Cromer, and Sadie Grant; brothers, John Grant and Jimmy Grant.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
