Jacob C. Coy

Jacob C. Coy, 44, of Sandusky peacefully passed away and called to heaven on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in the University Hospitals of Cleveland from complications of COVID.

He was born December 17, 1976, in Sandusky to David and JoAnn (Frank) Coy.

Jacob was a 1995 graduate of Sandusky High School and obtained a bachelor's degree in electronics in Strongsville, Ohio. He was self employed at the Quality Appliance and Sweeper Repair in Sandusky and worked at Great Wolf Lodge as a baker. Jacob was an active member of Wayside Temple and proudly supported the Firelands Christian Academy and the CBM Ministries. He was an avid Domino's player and a massive New York Yankees fan.

He is survived by five children, Daylan Sparks of Cincinnati, Jameril Coy of Jackson, Mississippi, Davareya Coy, Denasia Coy, and Daavyn Coy all of Sandusky; his parents, siblings, Joshua Coy of Portland, Oregon, and Katie Coy of Sandusky; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Louisa Frank, and his paternal grandparents Christian Jr. and Ruth Coy.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Avenue, Castalia, Ohio. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate. Everyone is invited to join the family for fellowship and shared memories of Jacob at a luncheon held at the church.
