Joan Kay (Steele) Mavros, 79, residing in Huron, passed away Monday evening, October 18, 2021 at Promedica Toledo Hospital.
Joan was born on January 8, 1942 in Shelby, OH to the late Howard D. Steele and Vera I. (Weber) Uther.
Joan is survived by her four children, Dawn Vorhees of Tiffin, Scott (Dana) Vorhees of Petaluma, CA, Melissa Puder of Berlin Heights and Cortney (Alvin) Isbell of Milan; step-son, Doug Mavros of Lakeland, FL; nine grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Terrie (Tom) Rhode of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Mavros and step-father, Kenneth Uther.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her home. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
