Thomas "Tom" Carl Lilje, 71, residing in North Baltimore, OH passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital following a brief illness.
Tom was born on February 13, 1950 in Sandusky, OH to the late Alfred C. and Myrtle V. (Schultz) Lilje.
Tom retired as truck driver from Gary Harrison Trucking after 35 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, camping and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith (Welch) Lilje. He is also survived by his children, Anthony Lilje of North Baltimore, OH, Heather (Clifford Wheeler) of North Baltimore, OH, Kristen (Alex) Garza of Defiance, OH, Bryan (Clara) Shamhart of Milan, Jeffrey (Tracy) Shamhart of Amherst and Thomas Gladwell Jr. of Sandusky; grandchildren, Paul, Dana, Christopher, Sheila, Carl, Janel, E'lexis, Jordan, Jace, Logan, Ariana, Diego, Aleasha, Samantha and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Jose, Jaxon, Kameron, Jacob, Kingston, Zayden, Peyton and Emma and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence and James Lilje.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Jerald Fenske will officiate. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Castalia.
