David Armstrong Beale

David Armstrong Beale, 94, residing in Sandusky with his daughter and son-in-law, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Stein Hospice Care Center.

David was born on November 22, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Lewis and Golde (Kness) Beale.

Over the years, David had resided in California, Huron and Sandusky. He was a proud WWII Veteran, having served as a Merchant Marine and a sergeant in the Army. David retired from New Departure Hyatt in 1984. During his employment he was issued a patent for his invention of a pressure and vacuum relief valve assembly in 1978.

David was a kind, gentle, loving Patriarch of his family. He loved music and playing the organ, dancing, loved spending time in nature, being outdoors, and bird watching while drinking his morning coffee. His favorite little companion was his 19 year old dog Chico, and his granddogs, Bella and Boulder.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family, daughters, Bridget Enderby of Norwalk and Ginni (Dan) Elliott of Sandusky; grandchildren, David (Misty) Williams, Rebecca (Tim) Parsons, Michelle (Tim) Bahnsen, James (Veronica) Williams, Melissa (Brooke) Waddington, Benjamin (Tawny) Williams, Bryan (Monica) Elliott and Brett (Tina) Elliott and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by the love of his life of 55 years, his wife, Leola Marie (Davis) Beale; granddaughter, Carrie Faith Waddington and brother, Harry "Ted" Beale.

A private family graveside service will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
