Dana L. (Dean) Lewis, 67, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday morning, November 10, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic following a complication from surgery.
Dana was born on April 6, 1954 in Coeburn, VA to the late Milford and Ruby (Ball) Dean.
Dana graduated from Sandusky High School in 1972. She retired as a nurse's aid from the former Erie County Care Facility, now known as the Meadows at Osborn Park. Dana was a member of the Orioles Club. She enjoyed riding motorcycles. Dana loved being by the water, loved her dogs and most of all loved her family.
Dana is survived by her fiancé, Steve Davidson; sons, Dan (Jessica), David (Alyssa) and Donny Lewis; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Gary) Pitsenbarger, Jeanie (Al) Butler and Mary Dean; brothers, Thomas and Frank (Deb) Dean and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Dana is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lewis and brother, Roger Dean.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
