Bobbie Sue (Reer) Swanagin

Bobbie Sue (Reer) Swanagin, 54 years young, residing in Milan, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Bobbie was born on December 13, 1966 in Sandusky, OH to Robert J. and Darlene Sue (Northcutt) Reer.

Bobbie graduated from Edison High School in 1985. Bobbie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Bobbie loved being surrounded by children. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, gardening, antique shopping, re-painting every room in her house, but mostly having coffee with her mom. Bobbie was employed by WT realty for 23 years. She was the co-chair for the CoC Continuum of Care program for Erie County and also the VOA bringing food, donations and Christmas cheer.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul H. Swanagin, whom she married on January 2, 1996. She is also survived by her daughter, Crystal (Todd) Gibson of Vickery; sons, Cory (Kelsey) Shaffer of Lima and Jesse Swanagin of Huron; grandchildren, Miley "Bug" Star Gibson and Maison Shaffer; parents, Bob and Sue, for whom she was named after; sisters, Sherry (Gary) MacKay, Kim Reer, Marsha (Brian) Hurst, Patty (Paul) Cummings, Amy Litteral and Julie (Charlie) Weyer all of Milan; brother, Mark (Vicky) Reer of Milan; a very near and dear friend of 23 years, Bob Waldock and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Vivian Estrada; brother-in-law, Randy Litteral and numerous aunts and uncles.

A committal service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron. Pastor Peter Dodd will officiate. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
