Jean Rosie Willis Caffey Hamilton

Jean Rosie Willis Caffey Hamilton, 70, Sandusky, on Monday November 22, 2021, God sent his angels to escort Jean home to be with the Lord.

She was brought into this world through the union of Henry Scott Willis and Rosie Lee Caffey Rice.

Jean accepted Christ in 1984 and became a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she has served as a loyal and faithful servant.

You could always find Jean sitting at the waterfront watching the waves and people. You could also drive by and see her sitting on the porch of her home. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and reaching out to them via phone several times a day. She lived her earthly life for her sons. Her grandchildren were a delight to her heart. Once she got to talking about them, you could hear the love and happiness in her voice. If you know Jean, she loves eating catfish. Her favorite saying was "that's what I'm talking about". Often you could find Jean serving and assisting in the kitchen. She would be an attendee and genuinely aid help while being a guest. She loves her family and church family.

Jean took great pride in her occupation. She enjoyed caring for others and assisting them.

She earned her high school diploma in 2018-2019 after returning to school with the determination to get her high school diploma, and she did It!

Jean was a very active member in her church. She was on the Usher's Board, Head of the Culinary Dept. She's a OG in the Exercise Group, Sunday School and Bible Study, she was just a busy little bee doing God's work. Nothing made her heart feel better than to feed the children before service on Sunday and different programs.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Eddie Willis, Gerald Willis (daughter in love, Maria Willis) Shawn Willis and Darvio McDaniel; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, three God Children: siblings: one sister, Georgia Mae Hawthorne Palmer of (Detroit). Her ride or die Dorothy "Dot" Aaron and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and Church Family.

Jean, being now with the Lord, joining her Husband, mother and two sisters who preceded her in death.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Rev. Clayton Howard will officiate.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
