Ramona Lynn Hampton, 67, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021, in Concord Care Center of Sandusky.
She was born in Sandusky on December 14, 1953, to the late Eunice McGhee and Barbara (Dickerson) Gowdy.
Ramona was employed as housekeeping supervisor for Great Wolf Lodge for 4 years.
She was member of Williams Temple, loved cooking, puzzles, watching TV and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Lorrene Smith, Alecia Smith, Elizabeth Demeritte, Leo (Frances K.) Smith, Alexander Smith and Russell Smith; eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Angela T. Reynolds, and LaToya Reed; a niece, Kenyotta; nephews, Raphael, Marvin, Maurice, and Blake; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Hampton; parents; daughter, Consquela in infancy and four grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in the Assembly of Jesus Christ Church, 3510 Beatty Ave., Sandusky. Elder Johnnie Cross will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
