Michael J. Wrenn, 57, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, December 1, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center after years of declining health.
He was born on November 30, 1964 in Sandusky to the late Luther and Patty (Harruff) Wrenn. A graduate of Norwalk High School, Michael worked for several companies over the years in both construction and facility maintenance.
Before his health failed, Michael loved working with his hands. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, going to concerts, and hanging out with his friends. Most important, however, Michael loved his family. He supported his kids throughout their lives and dearly loved his grandkids.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda (Jackson) Wrenn; children, Katherine (Austin) Smith, of Berlin Heights, and David Wrenn, of Columbus; grandchildren, Easton and Dallas; siblings, Pam, Becky, Tim, and Mary; dog, Bandit; and many other loving relatives, in-laws, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin-sister, in infancy, Cathy.
Friends may call on Monday, December 6 from 4-7 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will take place at 10 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ken Hiser officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park.
