Etricha D. "Trish" "Morris" Conway, 70, Sandusky has gone home to be with her Lord on November 30, 2021.
She was born August 14, 1951 in Anderson, SC and was a graduate of Sandusky High School. She worked for Firelands Regional Medical Center and retired after 46 years of service.
Trish was a shining example for us all to follow. A Proverbs 31 role model - a virtuous woman. Etricha was faithful to her ministry at Mount Zion Church of God In Christ. She was a willing worker and assisted where ever her hands were needed.
She would utilize her gifts in many offices of the church such as: Ministry of Helps, Hospitality, Mother's Board, YPWW President; Administrative: planning programs, the Pastor's and Church Anniversary, Finance, she served as a Church Trustee; Sunday School Teacher; Kitchen Aide, cleaning the church, and singing in the choir. Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) states: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Etricha would fulfill any task with a heart of compassion, love, and excellence.
Etricha took delight in traveling and going to the C.O.G.I.C. Holy Convocations and AIM Conventions. She would always try to encourage others to attend especially the youth.
Trish also was stylish, she enjoyed dressing sharp and wore beautiful jewelry - she most definitely wore her Sunday's Best on the day of worship. In addition Etricha took pleasure in spending time with family and friends - where they may have heard her beautiful, contagious laugh. She was a jokester, but remained Godly and uplifting to whomever she came in contact with. Trish would love to visit the sick with her sister Hattie Mae. She was a cheerful giver to others and her church. Trish always thought of others in need. She had also ministered with the Sisters of Christ.
Etricha is survived by her brothers Richard McDaniel, Jr. and Perry McDaniel, both of Sandusky, her special companion, friend Robert "Smokie" Young, Sandusky, son in law Steward Williams, Jr., grandchildren ShaQuille Keys, TiCorion Williams, and Coricia Williams of Louisville, KY, Steward Williams, III, of Battle Creek, MI, Brianna Kirkwood-Williams, Brielle Kirkwood-Williams, of Sandusky, and Nathaniel Cruz of Castalia, OH. 4 great grandchildren, special cousins Rick Knight and Jerome Johnson, aunt Mattie Clark, special friends, Catheree Conway and family, Earma Turner, Carolyn White-Lanier, Roy Matthews, and a host of relatives, friends, and her Mount Zion family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tamara L. "Tammy" "Conway" Williams, May 30, 2018, her parents Johnny Morris, Sr. and Rose Lee McDaniel; stepfather Richard McDaniel Sr., sister Hattie Mae Magee, bother in law Unas Magee, brothers Johnny Morris and Gary McDaniel, niece Patricia A. Morris, cousin Willie Mae Keys, maternal grandparents Tommie and Hattie Davis. spiritual mothers Racheal Robinson and Bessie Mosley.
Friends may call Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of the home going celebration service at 12 noon in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky, Superintendent Ross Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
