John Boger, 64, of Clyde passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 17, 1947 in Indiana, the son of Charles and Grace (McGregor) Boger.
John was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement in 2007. He was a 1966 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. He enjoyed bowling, golf, volleyball, but most of all spending time with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Norma (Bush), whom he married July 19, 1977 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church; Two sons, John (Leah) Boger of Phoenix, AZ, Robert (Sara) Boger of Bellevue; One daughter, Rebecca Boger, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Yvette, Portia, Jonathan, Natalie, Brookelynn, and Ava Boger; A brother, Charles Boger of Virginia; and sister Judith Soldano of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 4997 County Road 183, Clyde. Burial will follow at Meadowgreen Memorial Park.
