Suzanne H. (Choquette) Johnston, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, December 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Suzanne was born on September 30, 1942 in Montreal, Quebec Canada to the late Yvon and Pauline (Dancosst) Choquette.
Suzanne started her own cleaning business in Sandusky in the 1980's. Previous to that she had been an assistant manager at the Spiegles store, where she was one of the first people in Sandusky to use the internet. She was also a beautician who worked for Jon Knapp.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Clarence Johnston. She is also survived by her daughter, Teresa Johnston; son, Jeremy (Laura) Johnston; grandchildren, Hyatt (Iantha) Norrup and Aurora Butler; great-grandchildren, Victoria and Elliot; sisters, Micheline (Jesse) Davis and Claire Feyedelem; brothers, Roger (Louise) Choquette and Richard (Lori) Choquette and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave, Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. All are welcome to attend the 10 am Mass or to arrive at the Celebration of Life beginning at 11 am.
