Teresa A. (Croudup Colvin) Moore, Sandusky, 67, a bouncing baby girl, born on March 9, 1954 in Sandusky Ohio, to parents Robert Croudup and Esther (Croudup) Colvin. Teresa peacefully entered into eternal rest Friday December 17, 2021 in Stein Hospice following a lengthy illness.
Teresa was employed at the former Foster Grant, most notably Burger King and Texas Steakhouse until her health failed. Teresa attended Sandusky Public Schools and during the 2018-2019 years Teresa returned to Sandusky High School and earned her high school diploma, it was a proud day for her and the family.
As a lifelong member of Ebenezer, Teresa attended and participated in youth activities such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, youth usher, choir, and Youth Fellowship. When Teresa was member of the youth choir the song "Jesus Will" became her signature song. Teresa continued utilizing her singing talent by singing in the Mass and Inspirational Choirs as an adult, she also was a member of the Culinary Department, attendee of Sunday School and Prayer Meeting, and assistant to Children's Band.
Teresa founded and directed a citywide choir of youth named, "Teens for Christ," she also marched with Lake Erie Drum and Bugle Corps under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Thompson
Remembering with fondness the memories of life with Teresa are husband, William "Tony" Moore; mother, Esther Colvin both of Sandusky, OH., sons: Antwan and Akeel Colvin of TN., sisters: Delasndra Raymond) Croudup-Lewis, Toledo, OH; Jerri (Stacy) Croudup-Johnson, Findlay, OH., Jacci Croudup-Young of Fremont, OH. Missing the physical presence of Grandma Teresa, but holding her memory in their hearts are grandchildren: Bree Lewis (GA), Bianca (Litara) Faatili (UT), Tiara Colvin, Tori Williams, Marquis Mayfield, Antwan Colvin Jr., (OH); Sydnei Colvin (GA), Avianna Brant-Colvin of (OH), great granddaughter, Carmahni Bennett (UT) and special nieces: Amber Haskins, and Angel Colvin (OH), a host of other nieces and nephews. In-laws held a special place in the heart and life of Teresa, and they too cherish her memory: father-in-law, William (Henry) Moore Sr., mother-in-law Augusta (Marie) Moore; sisters-in-law; Alicia Colvin, Pastor Ernestine (E. Bonnie) Groove, Trudy (Early) Conway, Laurie (Alphuis) White Jr., Elder Bridget Seavers; brothers-in-law: Randy (Brenda), Jeffery and Johnny Moore. Special friends: Jeanette Charlton, Rose Churchwell, Paulette Roane, Cheryl Pickens, and Colleen Conway
Preceding Teresa in death are her father Robert Croudup, stepfather John Colvin, maternal grandmother Mattie Rowery, brother Julius Colvin and Aunt Lillian Kennedy.
Visitation Tuesday December 28, 2021; 10:00am until Celebration of Life at12:00 in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce Street, Sandusky. Elder Weyman B. Stephens will officiate, Pastor Clayton E. Howard will be the eulogist. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
