Ernestine R. Harper-Pickens, 60, Sandusky entered her Heavenly Home on December 22, 2021 in University Hospital. Cleveland.
She was born in Sandusky on April 6, 1961 to the late Annie R. Harper and John L. Dickerson.
She graduated from Perkins High School. She worked 30+ years for the Ohio Veteran's home. Not wanting to slow down she then started in home Health Care. Then the We Too Club to give back to the neighborhood kids of Soldiers Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Robert'JoeBob' Pickens; son, Ladale (Sabrina) Harper, Tampa FL, daughter, DeShara (Cory) Aust, Sandusky; siblings, Tony Harper, Rose Harper, Jackie Harper, Rebecca (Carl) Gray all of Sandusky, David Harper, Lorain, OH, Indra Kelly, St. Louis, MO, Beverly (Byron) Hall, Monique Barret, both of Dallas, TX, Madonna Dickerson and Shondell Dickerson of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Londyn Royalty, Kassmaje`, JaLaeyah, Cornelious, Madilynn and Julius; brother-in-law, Willie James (Patricia) Pickens, Silas, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Geneva Pickens, Waynesboro, MS, Victoria (Robert) Staten, Mathersville, MS, Sharon (Greg) Pace, Shubuta, MS, and Lele (Craig) Aaron, Sandusky.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents; brother-in-law, Jerry Pickens.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Emmanuel Temple Church, 128 E. Adams St., Sandusky. Bishop Rufus G.W. Sanders will officiate. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
