Charles A. Meggitt, III, 77, of Bay View, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 4, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a battle with COVID.
He was born on April 17, 1944 in Bellevue, OH to the late Eileen (Ferres) and Charles Meggitt, II.
A self-employed handyman who could fix anything he put his mind to, Charles also enjoyed fishing and motorcycles.
Charles is survived by his children, Theresa Meggitt Nagy (Jason Nagy), Charles Meggit, IV (Rachael Meggitt), Daniel Meggitt, and Jacky Meggitt (Courtney Meggitt); 11 grandchildren, Amanda Millott, Hunter Hahn (Dana Yeckley Meggitt), Haven Hahn, Lindsey Talley (Brandon Talley), Charles Meggitt, V, Timothy Cook, Jeremy Meggitt, Jace Meggitt, Jaymes Meggitt, Annabelle Meggitt, and Liam Meggitt; five great-grandchildren, Deaglan and Paul Hanchin, Indigo Roush, and Connor and Kylyn Talley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place and private family services will be held at a later date.
