Ronald E. Wriker, age 86, of Castalia, passed away Sunday morning, January 9, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
He was born April 6, 1935, in Clyde, and graduated from Clyde High School in 1953.
Ronald was an avid Harley Davidson fan. He first owned a motorcycle at the age of 15 and currently owned one at the time of his passing. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and had an impressive gun and coin collection. He loved spending time with his family and adored his wife Pauline of 49 years of marriage. Ronald worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years, then retired and ran Wriker Water Hauling, for 15 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky.
He is survived by two daughters Mary K. (Dale) Meyer, Sandusky, and Rhonda Lambert, Lima; three sons Don (Denise) Nemitz, Sandusky, Randy (Penny) Nemitz, Grafton, and Roland Wriker, Castalia; 11 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Pauline (Koch) Wriker; father Leslie Wriker; mother Leona (Lenhart) Whitel; step father John Whitel; and son Robert Wriker.
Friends may call from 10-11 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH. Masks must be worn while in attendance.
