Wayne William Pocock Jr. 70, Sandusky, residing in Bellevue Care Center passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Wayne was born November 26, 1951 to the late Wayne and Lois (Bango) Pocock.
Wayne enjoyed listening to country music and in his younger years working on the Clark farms and later for his brother Dave on his farm. Wayne was an over the road truck driver most of his life.
He is survived by his son, Shawn William Pocock; grandsons, Zachary Stombaugh and Gunner William Pocock, all of Bellevue. Wayne is also survived by his siblings, Sharon (Bob) Linville, Sandy (Ron) Peters, Mel Pocock, David (Julie) Pocock, Cindy (James) Hemmer, Shelly (Philip Jesberger) Allen, and Melissa (Butch) Schmidt all of Sandusky; several nieces and nephews, whom he loved hearing stories about, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as long time friend Evelyn Walls.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, a brother in infancy, his grandparents and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 11A.M. on Wednesday January 26, 2022, in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bellevue Care Center for the love and care they provided Wayne the last few years.
