Florence Marie Betz, 90, residing in Sandusky, died peacefully Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at The Meadows at Osborn Park.
Florence was born on February 7, 1931 in Trenton, NJ to the late John W. and Margaret (Sheridan) Betz.
Florence was a graduate of St. Anthony grade school, Cathedral High School, Villanova University and Boston College. She was a teacher for many years in Catholic schools in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas, as well as a Director of Religious Education in Trenton, New Jersey Diocese.
Florence is survived by her sister, Margaret (Bernard) Pachuta of Sandusky; nephews, Daniel (Lois) Collins of Trenton, NJ and Steven (Robin) Pachuta of Eagon, MN; nieces, Kathleen (Tom) McElroy, Patricia (Ron) Teixeria of Mercerville, NJ, Mary Darr of Sandusky and Teresa (Todd) Riley of Dublin, OH and numerous grandnieces, grandnephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Florence is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Collins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at the Weston Priory in Weston, VT. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
