Richard L. Warren

Richard L. Warren, 80, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Richard was born on September 4, 1941 in Defiance, OH to the late Robert and Wilma (Dirr) Warren.

Richard graduated from Huron High School in 1959. He retired from the Lorain Ford Motor Company in 1999 after 40 years of service. Richard was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Western movies, reading and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Ed) Hartley of Sandusky and Tania (Joseph) Manner of Toledo; son, Robert (Jamie) Warren of Sandusky; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Madeline), Samantha (Brandon), Emily, Trinity, Kyle and Jonathan; great- grandchildren, Amelia, Spencer, Eli and Kylin; sister, Lana (Grant) Lough of Kearny, MO; brother, Dwayne (Doris) Warren of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents and step-mother, Cora (Fluge) Warren, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Blakely) Warren in 2002.

Richard's children were extremely blessed to have such wonderful parents.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
