Norman L. "Thump" Gessner, Jr., 41, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
He was born on December 19, 1980 in Sandusky to Norman and Jacqueline (Patchen) Gessner, Sr. He was a 2000 graduate of Sandusky High School and was currently working at Ventra in Sandusky.
He loved fishing, playing video games, and he always had your back, helping anyone he could.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Gessner, of Huron; longtime companion, Veronica Tittle; parents, Norman (Reha) Gessner, Sr. and Jacqueline Gessner; siblings, Danyell (Matthew) Adams, Christina Gessner, Elizabeth (Michael) Taylor, Lynda Gessner, and Samantha Gessner; step-sons, Allen (Molly) Tittle, Jerod (CJ) Blakely, and Elijah Blakely; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 3 from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will begin at 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to help Thump's daughter, Olivia, in care of the funeral home.
