Janet Loraine Perdue, 78, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2022 after a brief illness in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Narrows, Virginia on March 5, 1943 to the late Denver Allen and Gladys Irene (Fleeman) Perdue.
She was a member of Church of God, Sandusky. Janet enjoyed playing bingo, cards and going to movies. She loved her family and the Lord. We know she is singing and dancing in heaven. Janet loved her fur-babies, Pierre and Princess, and earlier in her life she enjoyed taking care of her fish.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia (Perdue) & Larry Humphrey, Salem VA; Rebecca (Perdue) & Paul Hatfield, Sandusky; brother, Harry & Delores (Righi) Perdue, Sandusky; nieces, Kathy (Blankenship) & Terry Basham, Katrina (Blankenship) Jarret, both of Salem, VA, Lisa (Perdue) & Kevin Brownell, Leah Butler, both of Sandusky and Janae Hatfield, Columbus, OH; nephews,
Harry & Paula Perdue, Jordan Butler and Jon Paul Hatfield, all of Sandusky, Avery & Tammy Blankenship, Salem VA and Gary & Tracy Joiner, Columbus, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Denise Joiner and great-niece, Marina Brownell along with a brother in law, Avery Blankenship.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 1 P.M. until time of funeral services at 2 P.M., in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. `Harvey Studer will officiate. Burial will take place later in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
