William A. Hillman Sr., 78, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, February 10, 2022 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
William was born on September 16, 1943 in St. Joseph, MI to the late Helmuth Edward and Elizabeth Henrietta (Lind) Hillman.
William graduated from Bridgman High School in Bridgman, MI. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his cats, especially Fluffy.
William is survived by his wife, Dianne (Divis) Hillman, whom he married on January 16, 1982. He is also survived by his daughter, Rebecca Hillman of Findlay, OH and son, William A. Hillman Jr. of Sandusky.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
