Thomas J. Smith, Jr., 73, of Sandusky, left his pain behind and went to a better place late Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
He was born in Sandusky on July 8, 1948 to the late Thomas, Sr. and Maryann (Guendelsberger). He was a 1966 graduate of Sandusky High and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.
Tom is survived by his wife of 40 years, Trudy (Hush) Smith; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters; and a grandson.
Cremation will take place. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to Stein Hospice.
